Legal services

Janice Garcia, an elder law attorney who has started and worked with more than one organization for many years in legal services programs, and Bob Gottsfield, a former Superior Court judge who has volunteered at Andre House every week since 1990, are both pro bono attorneys in their areas of expertise.

I am the volunteer coordinator of the new Andre House legal services program that meets with guests.

Experience from similar programs has shown that 60 percent or more guests do not schedule their first meeting if they have to go to a law firm.

The lawyers are on campus to meet with guests on the 4th Tuesday of the month from 10:00 AM to 12:00. PM
