The Atlanta Legal Aid Society helps low-income people acquire their basic needs through free civil legal services.
They assist people in legal cases that involve the most basic needs: safe homes, adequate food, decent education, protection from fraud and personal safety.
Their clients have annual incomes below 200% of the federal poverty line.Their offices are located in downtown Atlanta, East Point, Decatur, Marietta and Lawrenceville, as well as through their Health Law Association, where lawyers are located in the Scottish Rite, Egleston and Hughes Spalding children's hospitals.
