Community legal aid, inc. (CLA) provides free civil legal services to low-income and elderly residents of central and western Massachusetts.

They do not help with the following legal problems:

• criminal cases
• personal injury
• workers compensation
• real estate sales
• probating of wills and estates
• CHINS
• care and protection cases, and certain other legal issues.
