Description

Senior Legal Services provides free legal services to San Diego residents over the age of 60.

Essential services provided to their seniors include a 30-minute consultation and advice meeting with an attorney licensed in the state of California.

Senior Legal Services employs 4 attorneys who cover Metro, South Bay, East County and North County respectively.

In total, Legal Services attorneys see more than 4,000 new clients per year.

Senior Legal Services lawyers are able to advise on a wide range of legal issues, including financial elder abuse, owner/tenant issues, contractual disputes, consumer issues, and benefit issues.

They may also prepare some documents such as:

• Simple Will
• Preliminary Health Directives
• Power of Attorney.
  

If your problem falls into a category that is not handled by them, they will try to refer you to a lawyer who can assist you.

They usually only refer through the San Diego Bar Reference Service.

If you want to trust the job, they will guide you to one of the attorneys trust that they work.

Senior Legal Services lawyers often see clients in Senior Centers located throughout the region.
