Description

Iowa Legal Aid is a non-profit organization that provides critical legal assistance to low-income and vulnerable Iowans who have no one else to turn to.


Iowa Legal Aid aims to develop a state in which poor people have access to services and resources to meet their basic needs and where all residents can claim their legal rights and receive fair treatment throughout the civil litigation system.

Hours of telephone intake:

  • Between 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM from Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday (Closed from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM)
  • Between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM on Thursday 

Office hours:

  • Between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM daily
