Description

Prairie State Legal Services is an organization that offers free legal services for low income persons and those age 60 and over who have serious civil legal problems and need legal help to solve them.

The mission of Prairie State Legal Services, Inc. is to ensure equal access to justice and fair treatment under the law by providing legal advice and representation, advocacy, education, and outreach that serve to protect basic human needs and enforce or uphold rights.

They serve Bureau, LaSalle, and Putnam counties.

You must meet their income and asset guidelines, or be of age 60 or older.

Generally, a client is eligible if his or her household income is less than 125% of the federal poverty level.

Hours of operation:

• Between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM on Monday to Thursday
