Description

Support Access to Justice for All by recruiting volunteer attorneys to provide legal information, advice, and representation in civil legal matters to low-income people residing in Lake, Porter, Jasper, & Newton Counties.

They screen for eligibility, give immediate legal advice, provide information or refer applicants to other bodies and, where appropriate, refer applicants to a voluntary lawyer for further legal services - for civil cases only.

Your gross family income from all sources must not exceed 125% of the FPL guidelines.

Exceptions:

Senior citizens (60 years and older) - 150%,
Foreclosure Defense (primary residence only) - 250%.

Hours:
Mon-Fri: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
