The mission of Southeastern Louisiana Legal Services is to enforce and defend their legal rights and achieve justice for low-income people in Louisiana through civil legal aid, advocacy, and community education.
SLLS works daily to protect victims of domestic violence from abuse, represents abused and neglected children in the foster family, maintains housing for hardworking families, helps end homelessness for people with disabilities and veterans, protects older consumers, removes barriers to medical care, improves health outcomes, improves access to employment and education for vulnerable people, and much more.
