Founded in 1968, Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights of the San Francisco Bay Area is dedicated to advancing, protecting, and promoting the legal rights of people of color, low-income people, immigrants, and refugees.

Supported by hundreds of pro bono advocates, the LCCR provides individuals with free legal assistance and representation in civil matters through direct services, legal effect disputes and policy advocacy.
