Description
Legal Aid of Marins mission is to provide access to the civil justice system to low-income, vulnerable and otherwise underserved residents of Marin County.
They strive for practical solutions to client problems through quality legal service.
Hours of operation:
- Between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM on Monday to Friday
They educate and advise older adults (60+years old) on:
- Basic trust and estate issues
- Advanced health care directives
- Elder financial abuse, which includes prevention of investment and financial fraud
- Older adults may also receive extra assistance to assert or defend their rights in Small Claims court through the Lockhart Small Claims Project

LAM provides family law services by referral only.
They give legal assistance and representation to those unable to receive assistance from the Family and Childrens Law Center because of conflicts of interest.
