The FreeState Legal Project provides legal services to low-income, gay, bisexual and transgender Maryland residents.

They provide assistance in the following types of cases:

• 
  Name changes
• Gender marker changes on birth certificates
• State-issued identification
  

You can register online or call the phone at (410) 625-5428 on Tuesdays between 1:00 pm and 4:30 pm.
