Maryland Legal Aid provides a full range of FREE civil legal services to financially qualified Marylanders and people over 60.
Areas of general civil legal services include:
- Consumer Rights, Elder Rights, Employment, Family, Farmworkers Rights, Government Benefits, Healthcare and Housing.
Hours of operation:
- Between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM on Monday to Friday
- Between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday for walk-ins

Maryland Legal Aids services are free for financially eligible individuals which is based on income and assets available to the household.
Household income must be below 125% of the federal poverty income guidelines.
