Maryland Legal Aid offers a full range of FREE civil legal services to financially qualified Marylanders and people over 60.
They only handle civil cases.
Their services are free for financially eligible individuals which is based on income and assets available to the household.
Household income must be below 125% of the federal poverty income guidelines.
They serve Carroll, Frederick and Washington Counties
Services include:
- Consumer Rights, Elder Rights, Employment, Family, Farmworkers Rights, Government Benefits, Healthcare and Housing
Hours of operation:
- Between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM on Monday to Friday
- Between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM for Telephone Intake
