Maine Equal Jurisdiction Partners (MEJP) is a non-profit legal aid provider whose mission is to find solutions to poverty and improve the lives of low-income people in Maine.

They advocate for fair public policy in the legislature and government institutions, provide direct legal services and represent interests through litigation on systemic issues and partner with various low-income communities and institutions through advocacy, organization and education.
