Description

The Legal Rights Center is a community driven not-for-profit law firm specializing in the defense of adults and juvenile offenders and in the practice of restorative justice and advocacy.

Its mission is to provide the highest quality criminal defence and restorative justice services to low-income people, particularly colored people.

Their focus is on Hennepin County, their focus is on youth, and their services are free.

The Legal Rights Center has two programs.

Community and Youth Protection Program:

• Education
• Advocacy
• Restoration Services.
  

While each program has distinct objectives and methods, collectively they advance the overall vision of improving the justice system experience for communities of color and even proactively addressing the issues that prevent involvement in the justice system in the first place.
