Description

Legal Services of Eastern Missouri is an independent, nonprofit organization that provides quality civil legal aid and equal access to justice to low-income and elderly people in Eastern Missouri.

LSEM has been offering free legal advice, support and representation to socially and economically vulnerable people for over 56 years.

Legal services are most often provided in areas related to domestic violence and other family law issues, children, education, health, housing and homelessness, benefits public, elder law, immigration and consumer issues.

The Union Branch Office enables LSEM to deliver the full range of services to qualified low-income residents of Franklin, Warren, and Washington Counties, and also handles family law cases in Lincoln County.
