Legal Services of Southern Missouri is a private, non-profit corporation created by an act of Congress to ensure that low-income individuals have equal access to the courts throughout the country.

They aim to provide representation and advice to persons with a low income only in civil matters.

They only serve the low-income and elderly.

Their services are free of charge.

They accept cases in the following areas:

• Domestic/Sexual Violence
• Family Consumer Housing
• Public Benefits
• Elder Law.
