Description

For over thirty years, the Central American Refugee Center has provided high quality legal aid to immigrant populations in the counties of Nassau and Suffolk.

They provide free citizenship legal services, credentialing of foreign-earned degrees and free financial counseling for lawful permanent residents.

Their Refugee Child Unit program conducts legal outreach and intake for unaccompanied children that have resettled in Nassau and Suffolk counties, assessing avenues of legal relief  and representation for children that are currently in deportation proceedings.
