They are a nonprofit Pennsylvania corporation committed to providing high-quality civil legal services to low-income people, victims of domestic violence and the elderly living in Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties.

LASP typically provides legal services in the areas of landlord-tenant disputes, public housing, utilities, consumer issues, including foreclosures and sheriff's sales, bankruptcy, denial or termination of government benefits such as welfare, social security, and compensation for unemployment, protection against abuse, custody, dependency of minors, divorce, suspension of license and matters related to elder law.

Eligibility depends on your monthly income, working capital, family size, the type of legal problem and where you live.
