Description

Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania (LASP) is a non-profit corporation in Pennsylvania committed to providing quality civil legal services to low-income individuals, victims of domestic violence and elderly people living in the counties of Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery.

LASP usually provides:

• Legal services in the areas of home/tenant disputes
• Public housing
• Utilities
• Consumer issues including forecing
• Selling sheriffs
• Denial or termination of government benefits such as welfare
• Social security
• Unemployment compensation
• Abuse
• Parental authority
• Child dependence
• Divorce
• Suspension of license
• Issues with the Elderly Act.

Eligibility is determined by your:

• Monthly income
• Current assets
• Family size
• Type of legal issues
• Place of residence.
  

In order to benefit from the services, applicants must in most cases comply with financial and asset guidelines.
