South Carolina Legal Services (SCLS) offers free legal assistance in a wide variety of civil (non-criminal) legal matters to eligible low-income South Carolina residents.


SCLS deals with civil cases (as opposed to criminal cases) that do not generate fees.

Their income guidelines are based upon the federal poverty guidelines.
