Description

The Center seeks to prevent land loss among low-income heirs by helping them gain clear title and maintain their family land through legal education, legal and mediation services, community empowerment and free Wills Clinics.

They also promote sustainable land use for greater economic benefit for historically underserved families.

The Center provides legal services across the seven counties of Beaufort, Berkeley, Charleston, Colleton, Dorchester, Georgetown Jasper and forestry services across four additional counties Clarendon, Hampton, Orangeburg, Williamsburg.
